This cozy family oriented community is known as the bedding plant capital of Connecticut. Very active in the agricultural industry, what used to be a rural farming community is now a residential suburb. It cherishes its open spaces with thousand of open acres and family houses blending into tree lines. This small town was ranked among the top small towns by Money Magazine and Connecticut Magazine. Cheshire is home to many local farm stands; stop by one of them on the way in or out of town.
