The wonderful town of Eufaula, AL, overlooks scenic Lake Eufaula and offers visitors a number of outdoor recreation and historical attractions. The Seth Lore and Irwinton Historic District has an impressive collection of beautifully preserved buildings and homes in true domestic Italianate architecture. If your dates are flexible, many of these houses are open in April and well worth exploring.
