Delta Junction, also known as the Gold Rush Town & Bison City, is located in the Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. Deltana Fair is a big draw for visitors as they get to purchase local produce. This wonderful fair takes place in the month of August and incorporates domesticated animals, garden and art displays alongside the standard reasonable staples of tractor pulls and festival rides. For visitors interested in the history of farming, Alaska Homestead & Historical Museum is the place to be. The place also boasts a number of roadhouses of historical significance like Rika’s Roadhouse, which is located in Big Delta State Historical Park.
