Glennallen, Alaska
Glennallen, located at the intersection of two of Alaska’s most imperative thruways, is the gateway to the biggest national park in the country, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve. The beautiful locales and sky kissing peaks lend the place a striking landscape. Recreational activities on offer here include fishing, wildlife viewing, off-road vehicle excursions on historic mining trails and snowmobile tours in the winter. One of the main attractions of the town is the Dog Sled Race, which takes place in January.
