Ketchikan, Alaska

Ketchikan, one of Alaska’s most Southeastern urban areas, is the principal stop for some boat trips as they approach more northern climes. The city acts as a doorway to Misty Fjords National Monument, an exceptionally beautiful region. With hair-raising steeps shaped by ice masses and magma streams left by volcanic action, Misty Fjords offers a ravishing view of natural formations. The downtown area is the primary business area and contains two substantial harbors, some cruise ship docks along with a significant number of Ketchikan’s fundamental attractions, including the noteworthy Creek Street. Settlers Cove State Recreation Area provides an ideal setting for trails, camping, and biking.
