Skagway, Alaska
A vivid history and a considerable measure of voyage boats make Skagway a standout amongst the most fascinating and prominent towns to visit in the Inside Passage. A seven-square hallway along Broadway is host to the historic false-front shops and eateries, wooden walkways, local people in period outfits and reestablished structures, a large portion of which are a part of Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Five times each day amid the mid-year, National Park Service guides lead a free, 45-minute walking tour through the historically significant area, halting at notable structures like the Mascot Saloon Museum, the principal lodge constructed in Skagway.
