Situated at the convergence of the Sterling and Kenai Spur roadways on the Kenai Peninsula, Soldotna is a famous fishing destination, with Kenai River flowing through it. During summers, this place is swarming with tourists on the hunt for Kenai River salmon. Centennial Park is comprised of a campground, recreational area and a promenade along the Kenai River.
