Amado is located in the Santa Cruz River Valley. The town is surrounded by harsh but beautiful flora and there are many birdwatching spots in the nearby area, such as Bill Forbe’s Pond where you can shoot some great photos of the impressive Northern Cardinal. Armado is nestled in an area of contrasts.
