Chambers is a small community in Apache County, Arizona. It is located 45 miles northeast of Holbrook. You will pass Chambers if you are driving via the Interstate 40 (it is at the junction with US Route 191). Even though there isn’t anything interesting to see in Chambers, there are quite a few nearby places that are definitely worth the visit. The Petrified Forest National Park is located 22 miles southwest of Chambers. It is a miraculous natural wonder and there you will have the opportunity to see some really beautiful naturally petrified wood formations. More than 800,000 people visit the park on an annual basis. It is an ideal destination for backpacking, hiking, and photography. If you are driving north of Chambers, you can make a stop at Canyon de Shelly National Monument (78 miles north of Chambers), and Navajo Nation Indian Reservation (80 miles north of Chambers). Regarding budget accommodation, Travelodge Holbrook is probably one of the best the area. It has nice clean rooms and the staff is very friendly.
