Valle, Arizona
Valle is a small community built at a high elevation (5,994 feet) in Coconino County, Arizona. It is close to the intersection of State Route 64 and US Route 180. Even though the community itself doesn’t have anything interesting to show, it is very close to some very popular natural attractions including the Grand Canyon National Park (29 miles north), the Kaibab Lake (32 miles south), and the Prescott National Forest (110 miles south). The wider area is ideal for some relaxing holidays in the forest and in a tranquil mountainous landscape. Here, you can enjoy bird watching, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, and fishing. Also, if you are a Flinstones fan or you are travelling with kids, then you should visit the nearby Bedrock City, about 5 miles east. The Flinstone Prehistoric Park is a great and very fun attraction. The closest best option regarding discount hotels and motels in Valle is probably the El Rancho Motel in Williams, about 34 miles south of Valle. It is a lovely 50’s motel located only within a couple of hours drive from all the above-mentioned attractions. It is a family business, well maintained, and with pretty basic but clean rooms.
