De Queen, Arkansas
The southwestern Arkansas town of De Queen is famous for a number of reasons with the Servier County Museum being one of them. Showcased in the Museum County are a bust of DeGeoijen and an American flag he handed over to the mayor’s wife in 1927. The museum also features “The 1940s House,” which allows visitors to experience the times of that decade. An Antique Village with some 10 small, dummy structures that are comprised of pertinent artifacts that are demonstrative of the structures and furniture found in De Queen not long after its establishment in 1897.
