Mena, Arkansas
Located in Polk County, Mena is the eastern end of the Talimena Scenic Drive, a 54-mile byway that traverses the peaks of Rich and Winding Stair mountains with Mena and Talihina, Oklahoma on either side.Queen Wilhelmina State Park, which is home to a freshly redesigned and restored lodge and eatery, is a popular tourist spot. The Mena Depot Center, situated in a reestablished 1920 railroad terminal, welcomes the town’s guests with tourism data, craftsmanship and neighborhood history shows and railroad memorabilia. The area is brimming with recreational opportunities with Lake Wilhelmina being the focal point.
