Prescott, Arkansas
Prescott’s rich history is manifested in the Nevada County Depot and Museum, located in the town’s reestablished 1912 Missouri-Pacific Railroad Depot, and in a downtown noteworthy wall painting. Besides acquainting themselves with the region’s agricultural and railroad history, visitors can gain knowledge about the Louisiana Purchase, Native American earthenware and the Civil War, all during a visit to the Museum. Found exactly 20 miles southeast of Prescott, White Oak Lake State Park has lakeside campgrounds, a marina and some exceptional trekking trails.
