Cayucos, California
Cayuco, which means fishing canoe in Spanish, is located on the coast in San Luis Obispo County, California. The name was to commemorate the Aleut Indians who hunted sea otters using just their bidarkas or kayaks. If you are looking for a great spot to fish, head to Cayucos Pier, a 953 feet long pier. If you just want to feel the sea breeze and look at a scenic view, gaze out to the south and look at the huge Morro Rock, also known as the Seven Sisters or The Nine Morros.
