Clovis, California
Clovis, a city in Fresno County, acquired its name from the San Joaquin Valley Railroad’s station. Since its incorporation in 1912, it has been referred to as “Gateway to the Sierras,” as it is lying in the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. If you want to shop, there’s a 73-acre enclosed regional shopping center where you can find Target, Kohl’s, Sears and more.
