Coronado, California
Coronado, also known as Coronado Island, is a resort city situated in San Diego County, California. It is a Spanish term for “crowned one”, which is why it is also being called The Crown City. Geographically, it is not an island but a “tied island” connected together by a tombolo, a strip of land, called the Silver Strand. There are several attractions within the city such as the San Diego Zoo where you can see giant panda bears, and the Balboa Park with museums & botanic gardens. Because of its location, kayaking, boat rentals, and even yacht charters are available.
