Delano, California

Delano is the second largest city in Kern County, California. It was named by the Southern Pacific Railroad, to honor Columbus Delano. The city’s major industry is agriculture and they are actually the biggest producer of table grapes. It is the home of renowned actor Dack Rambo, Olympic runners Leamon King and Lon Spurrier, and classical soprano singer Benita Valente.
