El Portal, California
If you have no time to visit New York to see the Statue of Liberty, visit El Portal’s City Hall where you can see a smaller version of the very popular statue. Situated in Mariposa County, California, the census-designated place only has 474 settlers as of the 2010 census. The name is a Spanish term which means “the gateway.” Enjoy Yosemite National Park’s granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams and giant sequoia groves when you visit the town.
