Plymouth, California
The City of Plymouth is situated on the northern edge of the province on Highway 49 close to the El Dorado County line. The city is the site of the Amador County Fairgrounds and the yearly held county fair each July. There are many wineries and vineyards in the area. Situated in the scenic foothills east of Sacramento with a tremendous view of the Sierras, Amador Foothill Winery produces two exemplary vineyard-assigned Zinfandels. Another noteworthy winery is the Renwood Winery, that is encompassed by the rolling slopes and surging streams.
