Situated along Route 50 and home to one of Colorado’s Welcome Centers, Lamar remains a savvy place to begin a voyage through the state. A popular local attraction, Big Timbers Museum features artifacts and information about frontier life, the noteworthy Dust Bowl, artifacts related to the D.A.R.
