Salida, Colorado

The City of Salida is a part of Chaffee County, Colorado. The Arkansas River goes through the downtown which hosts FibArk (First in Boating on the Arkansas) Festival every summer. Other water attractions incorporate the indoor Salida Hot Springs Pool. You can go for a hike on the mountain-bike trails that provide access to various national woodlands. During winters, the nearby Monarch Mountain ski area offers an excellent setting for the skiers. Another popular attraction lying in the vicinity of the town is the Browns Canyon National Monument.
