Westminster, Colorado
The town of Westminster is a part of Adams and Jefferson counties, Colorado. While new buildings have reestablished the look and feel of Westminster, the town’s history is meticulously conserved at the Bowles House Museum. Westminster’s Pillar of Fire building, a lofty neo-Romanesque-style building established in 1892, is another intriguing tribute to the history of the region. The Westminster Promenade, a popular local tourist spot, contains eateries and bistros, a film theater, lodging facilities and a three-rink ice arena. Besides that, The Butterfly Pavilion, a gazebo that boasts 1,200 free-flying butterflies including the splendid Blue Morpho, draws a lot of tourists from all over the town.
