Lake Placid, Florida

One of Florida’s most appealing towns, Lake Placid hosts around 40 wall paintings that embellish its downtown along with more than 20 freshwater lakes. Lake Placid has another name “the Caladium Capital of the World”. Toby’s Clown School, and the notable Happiness Tower, which stands at 270 feet are two of the main tourist attractions here. Visitors can also get a taste of the town’s history at Depot Museum, home to several local history artifacts.
