Micanopy is a town located in Alachua County, around 15 minutes from Gainesville. It is also known as “the antiques capital” as it is host to several antique shops. The Fall Harvest Festival, which is held in Cholokka Boulevard., draws a lot of visitors from various parts of the state. Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park is organically, topographically and generally one of a kind. Here you can spot bison and wild horses from a 50-foot-high observation tower.
