Blakely is a county seat city of Early County, southwestern Georgia. In general, Blakely is a small esthetic town where life moves at a slower and stress-free pace. Some of the major attractions in Blakely include the Coheelee Creek (don’t forget to visit the covered bridge) and the Kolomoki Indian Mounds. The nearby area is ideal for hiking and fishing. While in Blakely don’t forget to also visit the Early County Museum and the wooden Confederate flag pole (the last of its kind). Regarding budget accommodation, the Days Inn is probably the best option among other quality Blakely. It is aesthetically pleasing, clean, comfortable, and very cheap.
