Conyers is a small city and the county seat of Rockdale County, Georgia. Actually, it is the only city in Rockdale County. Conyers is a quaint city with many delightful eateries, interesting shops, and friendly locals. Few of the most attractive attractions include the Lewis Vaughn Botanical Garden, the Milstead 104 “Dinky” Steam Locomotive, and the Georgia International Horse Park. The latter is a 1,400-acre multi-purpose facility used for horse shows, festivals, concerts, picnics, etc. If you are fond of canoeing, fishing, and hiking, then you must certainly visit the 650-acre natural reservoir, Black Shoals Park.
