Cornelia is a small city in quaint Habersham County, Georgia. It is well-known for its amazing Big Red Apple sculpture that rates among the world’s largest. Built in the foothills of the beautiful Northeast Georgia Mountains, Cornelia is a very attractive destination for visitors fond of staying in a small and charming southern city. It has a rather extensive network of parks where you can enjoy relaxing walks, running and biking. While in Cornelia, is worth visiting the 54-foot Chenocetah Tower, Russell Lake Recreation Area, and the nearby Chattahoochee National Forest.
