Kennesaw, Georgia

Kennesaw is a small city in Cobb County, Georgia. It was a place of vital importance during the US Civil War. The 2,900-acre Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is a major attraction that hosts many Civil War events and demonstrations. While in Kennesaw, it is also worth visiting the Museum of History and the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History. There are many excellent Kennesaw to choose, including Homewood Suites (2.5 miles from city’s center), Comfort Suites (2.6 miles), and Embassy Suites (3 miles).
