Two of the most popular annual festivals include the Lean-OX Festival (takes place every third Saturday of November) and the Brushy Creek Muzzleloaders Spring Shoot (every second week of March) that celebrates the historic Brushy Creek battle where Georgian militia fought against the Seminole Indians.
