Keokuk is a small city, the most southerly in Iowa, and the county seat of Lee County. Built along the Mississippi River, Keokuk is a lovely community where American Indian and Civil War history, culture, delicious local cuisine, natural wonders, and stunning architecture, all blend harmonically creating an interesting amalgam that can attract all kinds of visitors.
