Osage, Iowa
Osage is a small city and the county seat of Mitchell County, Iowa. The recreational ‘heart’ of Osage beats in the Cedar River Complex, a multi-faceted recreation facility where you can find a wellness center, auditorium, and the Mitchell County Historical Museum. Another major Osage attraction is the Watts Theater. Originally built in the 50’s, the Watts Theater didn’t manage to stay open for a long time. In 1994 though, it was fully renovated by the Bunge family. Since then, the Watts Theater changes owners very frequently, but it remains a real ‘gem’ for Osage. Regarding budget accommodation, most of the and nearby Osage offer clean and comfy rooms for less than $90 per night.
