Eddyville, Kentucky
Eddyville is a small town and the county seat of Lyon County, Kentucky. It was originally built north of the Cumberland River, but in the 1950’s most of the town had to be relocated near the Lake Barkley that was created after the construction of Barkley Dam which resulted in most of the Eddyville land to be flooded by the Lake. Except for the Lake Barkley, three other major Eddyville attractions include the Venture River Family Water Park, the Mineral Mound Golf Course, and the Rose Hill Museum.
