Franklin, Kentucky

Franklin is a small city and the county seat of Simpson County, Kentucky. It is a very charming and joyful destination and was included in the “50 Best Small Southern Towns.” There are plenty of good reasons why it is worth staying for a couple of days in Franklin. Excellent restaurants and fascinating antique malls, almost no traffic at all, a drive-in theater, three interesting museums, and loads of annual popular events, such as car shows, concerts/music festivals, and horse racing. Not even mentioning that here you will find some of the lowest gas prices in the Southeast. And it gets even better; most of the and nearby Franklin offer rooms for way under $85 per night.
