Tallulah, Louisiana

Tallulah was founded in 1857 and is parish seat for Madison Parish. While in Tallulah, visit Hermoine Museum. While in the area, go to Delta, which is the birthplace of the world’s first female millionaire, madam C.J.Walker, a self-made woman, who created a line of hair products. There is also a Crescent House, one of the four homes that Union General U.S. Grant did not burn during the seige of Vicksburg.
