Baxter is located in the Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The city has many lakes and ponds largely because it is created by the Superior Lobe of the Labradorian ice sheet. Of the places to visit in Baxter, Jack Pine Brewery should not be missed. It offers a very good selection of craft beers at very reasonable prices. Next in line should be the Rapid River Lodge and Water Park. There are slides at the water park for all age groups and is best for a family outing. The rooms are nice and clean. On similar lines but with an extra laser tag is the must visit Three Bear Water park & Craguns Laser Tag.
