Bemidji, Minnesota

Bemidji is in Beltrami County in North West Minnesota and lies on the south west shore of Lake Bemidji. There is something for tourists all the year round. The Paul Bunyan Triathlon and the Dragon Boat Festival are held in August. Highlights in winter include the weeklong Bemidji Polar Days and the Minnesota Ski Marathon. The city is near the Chippewa National Forest, Itasca State Park and Lake Bemidji State Park. Bemidji is any adventurer’s paradise with 800 km of snowmobile trails and 160 km of cross country ski trails.
