Burnsville, Minnesota

Burnsville is a city 24 km south of downtown Minneapolis in Dakota County in Minnesota. The city is rich in arts and culture with the Ames Performing Arts Center taking pride of place. The lobby is an imposing two storey high structure with a sweeping view of Minnesota River Valley and the Nicollet Commons Park. The city does not have any museum but that is more than made up by the Lake Alimagnet Center for the Arts. Another must visit place is The Garage near the City Hall which is a music club and teen center but has attracted nationally and internationally reputed performers.
