Minneapolis, Minnesota

Minneapolis is the county seat of Hennepin County and is the 16th largest Metropolitan area in the United States with almost 3.5 million population. The city is a center for visual and performing arts with the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Weisman Art Museum, the Pence Opera House and the Academy of Music being must visit places. The Guthrie Theatre is the area’s largest theatre company. The city has an extensive park system and the chain of lakes around the area is connected by bike, running and walking paths and is used for swimming, fishing, picnics, boating and ice skating.
