New Ulm is located in Brown County, Minnesota. Some of the must visit historical sites in the city include The Turner Hall, Brown County Historical Society, Defenders Monument and Hermann Monument. The Society in particular is spread out over 3 floors with one of the most extensive archives in the State. New Ulm is often called the City of Charm and Tradition because of its cultural offerings. This is borne out by the exhibits at the famed Minnesota Music Hall of Fame. Apart from these, there is also a mini golf course and the Concordia Lanes bowling alley.
