Saint Paul, Minnesota
St. Paul is the capital of Minnesota and the second most populous city in the State. Culture and sports are the dominating features of St. Paul. The city hosts the St. Paul Winter Carnival, a tradition that goes back to 1886. The Japanese garden and the Como Zoo and Conservatory are very popular tourist attractions as are the other recreation locations such as the Rice Park, Regional Park and the Highland Park. Architecturally, there are many grand buildings here, the State Capitol being on top of the list. In sports, famous teams based here are the Minnesota Wild in ice hockey, Minnesota United FC for soccer and St. Paul Saints in baseball.
