Bismarck, North Dakota
Being the capital of the North Dakota State, the city of Bismarck is home to several historical buildings and places for recreational activities. Formed in the year 1872, Bismarck saw growth after gold was discovered in the neighboring Black Hills in the year 1874. Bismarck houses many historical places such as the State Capitol Building, North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum, the Dakota Zoo, the Bismarck Civic Center and many more. It is a great place to witness the history of North Dakota and have great time especially if you have kids as Bismarck has something in store for everyone.
