Valley City, North Dakota
A great city situated in the Barnes County, North Dakota, Valley City is known for several of its bridges that are built over the Sheyenne River, especially the famous Hi-Line Railroad Bridge, which is a historic bridge and one of the longest, and highest single-track bridge in the whole of United States. The abundance of several bridges has earned the city its nickname “The City of Bridges”. Valley City is home to the North Dakota Winter Show held annually and is one of the oldest agriculture shows in North Dakota. Valley City also houses the North Country Trail, which is a great place for those seeking outdoor activities and adventure.
