Wahpeton, North Dakota
Located at the confluence of Bois de Sioux River and the Otter Tail River, Wahpeton is a city in the Richland County, North Dakota and was founded in the year 1869. Wahpeton is known for its migratory waterfowl hunting activities, as it is located in the Central Flyway and attracts hunters and outdoorsmen from all around. Wahpeton is also home to the several historic places such as the Richland County Historical Society Museum, Fort Abercrombie, The Circus Monument, Chahinkapa Park and the Chahinkapa Zoo. Other than these, Wahpeton is known for the famous tourist attractions, “Wahpper”, the World’s Largest Catfish and the Bagg Bonanza Farm.
