When driving into Lamesa, TX, keep an eye open for the Cadillac perched ontop of the country store. This quirky eye-catching display serves as a wonderful advertisement for the antique car display inside. You will probably also notice another unique historical landmark simply known as The Wall. Originally a block long wall separating competing lumber companies, the wall is now routinely painted by seniors at Lamesa High School a couple of days before graduation. This fun tradition started sometime in the 30’s and shows no signs of slowing down.
