The Robinsonville Presbyterian Church in Robinson, TX, has origins from 1874 and is one of the historic markers in town not to be missed. Neighboring the community of Robinson is the small community of Downsville. This historic town dates back from the 1850s when William Woods Downs owned the land. After slavery was abolished, Downs presented each family with a house and land. This region is ripe with history if you know where to look.
