Shafter, Texas

The once prosperous town of Shafter, TX, was the site of the most developed underground mining area in the Trans Pecos Texas area. Fast-forward to today, Shafter is considered a ghost town with only a handful of residents remaining. The ruins of the former three-story ore reduction mill of the Presidio mining town and other abandoned buildings make great photography subjects.
