When you visit Weimar, TX, make sure you buy a copy of the Weimar Mercury, a historic newspaper that was first printed in 1888 and is still printed today. Take a self-guided walking tour of the Main Street area, paying special attention to the doctor’s office to see if you can catch a glimpse of the full sized skeleton. Also on the walk, the Heritage Society Museum of Weimar, housed in the Old Bank building, will take you through the interesting history of the town and region.
